I opened the season 2018 of weddings in Dubrovnik with these amazing people, Mirza and Jai. Their guests came all the way to Dubrovnik from so many different parts of the world…UK, United States, Bosnia…to celebrate the most special day of their lives. I am thankful they chose me to be their wedding photographer in Dubrovnik as I enjoyed it so much.

I started the day with talking pictures while Jai was getting ready and Davor, the best local hair and makeup stylist did his magic.

The touching moment of Mirza seeing his wife to be, in her stunning wedding dress, for the first time, was breath taking and this is always the most precious moment I witness on the wedding day.

Wedding ceremony took place at Dubrovnik’s Grand Argentina hotel, a stunning local hotel with great history and a magnificent garden hidden within it’s property, making the ceremony very private and ideal for a destination wedding in Dubrovnik. The garden was beautifully decorated with a flower arch and guest were seated on chiavari chairs, with a white carpet on the grass.

After a touching ceremony and the couple saying their “I do’s”, Jai’s and Mirza’s guests were served champagne in the shade of the palm trees and we did some group and family shots under a beautiful ceremony arch.

My wonderful city never fails serving as the most unique backdrop for wedding photographs…so we left their guests content, having drinks on the piano bar of Argentina hotel and headed towards the Old town of Dubrovnik to capture some great memories.

Their dinner reception choice was hotel Excelsior’s Palm garden, one of the most unique places to have your reception at, with the best view in town overlooking the city walls and Lokrum island. Touching speeches were followed by a beautiful meal and the terrace was decorated with romantic bulbs hung all over the terrace and white flowers with the shades of pink looked amazing on tables.
